About the Role

 Support the Assistance Manager – Strategic Procurement to ensure continuous compliance with the procurement process. Support the implementation of the eSourcing Technologies as part of the Global Roll-Out plan. Provide (technical) support services at DPW Global level and across the Group following eSourcing technologies project implementation

Key Accountabilities

 

  • Support the implementation of eSourcing Technologies
  • Provide on-site and remote training to end users to ensure the eSourcing Portal is being fully utilized
  • Contribute to the ongoing refinement and development of eSourcing Technologies
  • Responsible for creation and updates of effective user guides on eSourcing Technologies for end users and suppliers
  • Arrange and manage user training workshops, provide ongoing system support and troubleshooting to ends users at DPW Global level and across the Group
  • Responsible for developing and training “eSourcing Technology” champions at DPW Global level and across the Group
  • Actively contribute and provide (technical) support to the established global vendor management office
  • Effectively report and communicate relevant updates to Assistance Manager – Strategic Procurement
  • Responsible for effectively gathering and managing eSourcing Technologies Enhancement Requests and communicating with the service providers for developments and/or system resolutions
  • Ability to support the Assistance Manager – Strategic Procurement with policies, procedures and various other documentation preparation
  • Support with the maintenance of global procurement eSourcing Technologies – maintaining users lists; user roles; portal admin configurations; branding; workflows and approval hierarchies
  • Any other duties which may be assigned or delegated by the Assistance Manager – Strategic Procurement and which are consistent with the above and/or reasonably within the purview of eSourcing Specialist.

  • Perform other related duties as assigned 
Qualifications and experience
  • Degree Qualified
  • 3-5 years of experience in implementation and adoption support of eSourcing Technologies
  • 3-5 years of experience within Procurement
  • Actively pursuing ongoing professional development and/or related procurement/ sourcing activities (e.g. CIPS)
  • Technology inclined / technically savvy-  good understanding of Web Based solutions in general
  • Strong interpersonal, communication (both verbal and written), analytical, quantitative, problem-solving and leadership/management skills are essential
  • Strong IT skills with advanced use of Microsoft Office suite (Excel, PPT, Word)
  • Highly developed analytical skills with an ability to think outside of the box
  • Time Management skills- ability to work under pressure against multiple deadlines
  • Self-starter, ability to work independently as well as in teams
  • Time management - ability to manage projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to document business processes, and gap analysis between “as is” and “to be” process flows.

  • Fluent in English and/or Arabic (speaking both is advantageous).
  • UAE Driving license / ability to travel (internationally)
