To drive the Human Capital (H.C.) agenda for DP World Posorja.

Provide leadership direction and structure for the H.C. function aligned to the business unit’s needs.  Act as H.C. focal point for recruitment strategy that supports the development of DP World Posorja.

  • Develop with the GM and senior management team as set of HC objectives to support the achievement of business strategies.
  • Develop and implement the Employee Relations strategy for the business.
  • Manage and set the HC budgets for recruitment, pay, learning and any other HC function.
  • Partner and advise the senior management team on aspects of H.C. management to contribute to the effective utilization of people.
  • Partner with the General Manager and guide him / her to achieve optimum H.C. performance in the development of the greenfield site.
  • Devise, develop and implement H.C. policies, procedures and guidelines.
  • Ensure the management of staff is effectively carried out in accordance with statutory requirements and H.C. policies and procedures.
  • Be an ambassador for learning and development; implement and communicate a learning culture within the business; manage and direct the relevant in-house and external learning and development programmes to retain a high caliber of staff by enhancing their skills to achieve business goals through Talent Management processes.
  • Provide advice and/or coaching to all staff as necessary.
  • Manage the Local Sustainability Agenda
  • Support and actively contribute to Company’s effort to create and maintain safe working environment.

Person
  • Have a proven track record in recruitment management / strategy
  • Excellent verbal and written language skills in English and Spanish is essential;
  • Sound knowledge and experience of H.C. best practices with exposure to employment law;
  • Previous experience in driving strategic development and/or change programmes;
  • Ability to work as a HC partner to the business driving key initiatives through people;
  • Strong project management skills; and a track record in implementing best practice learning and development initiatives
Experience
  • A minimum of 5 years generalist H.C. experience at a senior level;
  • Degree level or equivalent with relevant professional and management training preferred;
  • Experience in working in local labour markets.
Qualifications
  • A minimum of 5 years generalist H.C. experience at a senior level; With a Degree and or professional HR qualifications.
