About the Role

The purpose of the Analyst role is to effectively manage all the financial, administrative and analytical processes of the Learning & Leadership Development functions, including statistical analyses and reporting to the business for all DP World Institute and Talent Management activities.  This includes any technical, leadership and functional training managed by the corporate L&D team.

Liaising with global users of the Learning & Leadership Development services, and as a key user of the DP World Institute / Talent Management systems including Learning and Content Management Systems, the role will further enable the measurement of learning impact, up to and including return on investment level.

Within the scope of the programme management team structure, the jobholder is also expected to assist and support the administration of the programme management functions.

Key Accountabilities
  • In conjunction with the Programme Manager, DP World Institute, develop and implement financial systems, processes, and reporting plans, working within budgets to ensure the continuous improvement of financial control and timely reporting.
  • Ensure that programme charges are raised accurately and on time.  Monitoring of internal / external revenue collection
  • Ensure that the procurement processes for all services, goods and other activities are completed correctly and on time.  Maintain accurate records of costs incurred, and variances in terms of the agreed budget structure and limits.
  • Support in the measurement of learning impact, up to and including return on investment level of the various learning and development interventions conducted by L&D.
  • Highlight key lessons / opportunities arising from data analysis and ensures senior management are fully briefed on potential implications.
  • Manage the DP World Institute / Talent Management branding and communications materials, including leaflets, posters, brochures, social media, e-newsletters and websites;
  • Together with the programme management team, support the team with the day-to-day programme management activities.
  • Together with the programme management team, maintain and adjust the Institute Schedule to ensure all parties are fully aware of activities
  
Qualifications

Essential:

  • Bachelor level education, in a Business, HR or Administration subject.
  • Highly numerate, knowledgeable in analytical and/or finance processes, with ability to analyse and interpret quantitative and qualitative data.
  • Must possess good conceptual and analytical skills
  • Confident and capable IT / systems user
  • Excellent communication and teamworking skills
  • Project management skills with excellent attention to detail

Desirable:

  • 2 to 3 years’ experience post-graduation, ideally with learning & development or HR generalist exposure
  • Experience of quality management systems and administration.
  • Desk-top publishing skills
