About the Role

Dubai Trade World is a subsidiary of the global trade enabler DP World, focused on facilitating the cross-border trade and logistics businesses using an integrated suite of hi-tech solutions and services.

Our flagship product is Mawani Logistics Community System, which integrates the entire trade supply chain providing innovative online services to all stakeholders, enabling them to do their business easier, faster and more cost effective using the web, mobile and APIs. Other products include Digital Trade Finance, B2B and B2C e-Commerce, Digital Freight Forwarding and others.

The Technical Program Manager - Commercial is responsible for the success of the organization’s rollout of products and services including business planning, commercial modelling, client coaching, performance management and all other actions requires to achieve the business objectives of every projects.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Defining the project execution strategy in line with the customer's contract structure
  • Performing financial and commercial planning for the rollout projects, including establishing commercial terms and conditions, budgeting, funding, payments, currency management, taxes, financial statements and all other action needed for the successful project completion
  • Financial and commercial management of projects within the given time, budget and quality framework, with the greatest possible financial results and customer's satisfaction
  • Execution of agreements and contracts with customers, partners, regional business units and suppliers maximizing both revenues and customer satisfaction
  • Supervision and guidance of project teams in rollout locations to achieve specified results and business objectives
  • Ongoing optimization of processes to ensure rationalization potential, to optimize productivity, and to increase profit of all projects
  • Preparing presentations and pitches for new projects and creating quotes, proposals and business plans.
  • Working with the senior management and relevant teams to define the right win strategies
  • Researching competitors and providing timely feedback to the senior management
  • Complete follow up with the customers during and after rollout, and continuously throughout the engagement lifetime
  • Conducting research to identify new markets and customer needs, and providing timely feedback to the senior management
  • Promoting the company’s products and services addressing customers’ objectives
  • Preparing agreements and contracts ensuring adherence to all applicable rules and guidelines
  • Building long-term relationships with new and existing customers
  • Growing the company’s revenues by targeting emerging economies around the world, promoting DP World’s digital products and services as the leading ecosystem for facilitating the entire cross-border trade activities by multiple transportation modes (Air, Sea, Land and Rail).
  • Supporting performance management of DT World’s subsidiaries, joint ventures and end customers in different countries having a diversity of economic systems and business regimes, including joint ventures with government and private sector entities.
  • The job will be performed in accordance with the various international contracts signed by DT World.
  • The global footprint of target markets will require frequent travel.


Experience, Qualification & Skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
  • 5 Years in a Business Development, Commercial or Financial Management position
  • Excellent management and leadership skills
