What are your main responsibilities?
As Head of the IT Department, I am responsible for ensuring the smooth functioning of all of DP World's Information systems around the clock, and setting department performance targets. My roles include including designing and implementing related policies and strategies, budgeting, coordinating training programmes and maintaining statistics on computer performance.
What do you enjoy the most about your work?
I derive a tremendous satisfaction not only from problem solving and anticipating new trends and technologies, but also seeing our IT systems running smoothly.
