The Digital Asset Coordinator will play a critical role in organizing, enriching and managing digital assets. They will be responsible for ingesting, classifying, and adding metadata for all assets into the digital asset management (DAM) system on a daily basis. As well as sorting offline assets into logical structure trees and uploading these assets into the DAM.

The Digital Asset Coordinator is expected and empowered to proactively develop logical indexing structures to organise assets for DP World’s communications and marketing activities. The Digital Asset Coordinator understands the importance and value of the ease of access to information. This understanding will drive the Digital Asset Coordinator to be a creative multi-tasker with excellent organisation skills.  The Digital Asset Coordinator is required to maintain the highest standards of honesty and integrity in his/her dealings with everyone within and outside of the organisation

  • Manages the digital asset management system and takes responsibility of uploading assets
  • Assist in retrieval, processing, organisation, naming, archival and distribution of assets
  • Responsible for assigning appropriate metadata and keywords for assets to ensure accurate usage rights and searchable index for all digital assets
  • Registers internal and external users to the Digital Asset Management system based on permissions
  • Facilitates retrieval of previously catalogued images/shoots from various library servers and hard drives
  • Processes all raw images to create contact sheets of all selects
  • Triage and route issues and requests, in collaboration with Senior Manager- Content
  • Archive photo assets as necessary on servers post shoot
  • Collect and communicate notes to external retouches based on designer feedback
  • Educate, train and promote the use of the Digital Asset Management system
  • Support critical and time sensitive requests by and Group Communications
  • Generates asset download reports, for governance and checks on metadata
  • Assist the brand specialist in updating the guidance pages on DAM
  • Assist brand specialist in identifying opportunities for asset creation across the Group’s portfolio 
  • Excellent attention to detail

  • Ability to work autonomously in an effective manner
  • Willingness to learn and understand about the creation, maintenance and long-term migration of digital assets
  • Basic photo retouching and clipping skills a plus and familiarity with Adobe Creative Studio Knowledge of taxonomy a bonus
