Job Summary & Job Purpose

Job Summary:

The Director of Park & Logistics, based in the Dominican Republic, reports to the Executive Director, is responsible for providing the strategy for the development of all aspects of the Logistics Park, high volume supply chain / logistics operations to guarantee a quality of consistent high-level service and customer satisfaction, profitability, profitable operations, and compliance with company policies and procedures.

Job Propose: 

Create, manage and control the operations and client portfolio of the Logistics Park, offering them an integrated and high quality service.  As well as directing the execution of the trading strategy for each of the units under your responsibility.




Key Accountabilities


  • Lead and lead 3PL compliance operations to achieve key goals and objectives and the execution of an operational and business plan.
  • Assess financial, economic and sociopolitical issues to identify trade opportunities and risks.
  • Interact with senior management by providing updates and solutions on situations related to the business impact of the project.
  • Analyze monthly financial performance against budget to adapt to changes and adapt quickly.
  • Develop the pricing structure of the different services of DP World Logistics.
  • Manage customer expectations and ensure compliance with the agreed terms of the contract.
  • Work together with other departments within DP World Caucedo and integrated with our Regional team, in order to produce the best results for our customers.
  • Manage each and every administrative and operational situation related to DP World Logistics.
  • Detect new opportunities through DP World Logistics for efficiency in the customer's supply chain.
  • Develop strong relationships with leading BCOs and customers, engage directly with decision makers that enable DP World Logistics to detect new opportunities.
  • Set income goals and account development plans that meet business expectations.
  • Develop financial models to assess the future profitability of business opportunities.
  • Engage operations and finance teams to ensure that trade agreements are financially and operationally sound.
Knowledge, experience and skills



  • Industrial Engineer/ Business Administration or related careers.
  • MBA or Master's degree in international trade or logistics preferred.


  • More than 5 years of experience in management positions.
  • More than 7 years of experience in commercial development with 3PL or logistics provider.
  • Minimum 7 years in a leadership role required
  • Proven experience in client portfolio management.
  • Experience working in multinational companies is desire

Communication Skills:

  • Proven ability to develop and maintain relationships with customers.
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills including the ability to persuade, influence, negotiate, and make formal presentations in meetings.
  • Ability to speak, read and write business level English and Spanish.         
  • Have strong management and leadership skills.

Special Knowledge/Skills:

  • Advanced, applied understanding of project management methodologies with focus on managing solution driven strategy plans to achieve goals.
  • Knowledge of Strategic Planning processes. Ability to develop short and long-range project planning and effectively communicate information to diverse work groups required.
  • Ability to manage the financial aspects (purchasing, budget preparations and review, financial reporting and monitoring expenses, P & L experience) required.
  • Knowledge of Lean/Six Sigma is a plus.
