Job Purpose

The Senior Manager Supply Chain Solutions is responsible for identifying and qualifying additional sales opportunities and developing additional products and services for use by the Strategic Accounts Manager, Supply Chain (SAMS).

The role is an integral part of the Supply Chain and Logistics organization, working to support the sales efforts through software, products and services offerings.

The successful candidate must be able to work independently, be comfortable with ambiguity, and be able to communicate with and influence employees at all levels of the organization. S/he will be a strong project manager with deep analytical abilities and will over-index in several leadership competencies, particularly deep dive, invent and simplify, ownership, bias for action and deliver results.

Key Accountabilities


  • Develop product lines and evaluate new ideas for market viability
  • Performs customer analysis and competitive assessments employing corporate methodologies
  • Responsible for the analysis and evaluation of key market statistics and customer requirements to define product strategies and identify product opportunities to expand the market share
  • Collaborates with the relevant stakeholders to create products and validate early product definitions
  • Bring new products to market with return-on-investment analysis
  • Lead the development of detailed roadmaps and business plans including product life, technology development, and communicate strategies and training of supporting products
  • Manage from concept, to design, sample production, testing, forecast, cost, mass production, promotion, support, and finally product end of life
  • Responsible for managing and implementing marketing activities through research, strategic planning and implementation
  • Work closely with the SAMS on license deals, enhancing account coverage, and deepening relationships with existing clients.
  • Expand licenses of existing products with assigned clients
  • Assist in handling customer concerns, support inquiries and renewals
  • Partner with other departments to serve the customer and resolve issues



  • Applicable if role has direct or indirect reports - responsible for the management and leadership of an engaged team, promoting collaboration and ensuring that each is developed and evaluated against goals and objectives which are aligned, specific, measurable, attainable yet challenging, realistic and time bound.
  • Act as an ambassador for DP World at all times when working; promoting and demonstrating positive behaviors in harmony with DP World’s Founder’s Principles, values and culture; ensuring the highest level of safety is applied in all activities; understanding and following DP World’s Code of Conduct and Ethics policies
  • Perform other related duties as assigned 


Experience & Qualification


  • Minimum Bachelor's degree in Logistics or Industrial Engineering or equivalent experience
  • 10-12 years of experience of supply chain related software experience/ implementing software or managing specific product lines
  • 2+ years of Product Management experience with a major Supply Chain Execution or Supply Chain Planning Systems company preferred
  • Experience building productive internal and external working relationships with Sales teams, Customer Support groups, Professional Services consultants, and stakeholders
  • Knowledge of professional selling strategies as well as knowledge of complex sales methodology
