  • Support the Company Secretary with Corporate Governance and Legal matters for the region;
  • Responsibility for ensuring the accuracy of Americas corporate data on the Global Corporate Governance and Compliance Management System, producing quarterly status, exception and group structure reports;
  • Ensure that all statutory legal requirements within the Company and region have been implemented and complied with;
  • Management of constitutional, incorporation and ownership documents to fulfil governance and reporting requirements, including reporting on Board meetings, compiling minutes of meetings and drafting Board resolutions as required;
  • Lead role in regional Intellectual Property matters, liaising with Dubai management team on such matters for the region;
  • Supporting the implementation of regional corporate data room to facilitate in project due diligence and provide training and guidance to staff using the data room;
  • Supporting Group interim full year updates to Group corporate data room.
Person

Should have a strong Para Legal background, or law degree, with at least 3 years work experience.

 

  • Commercial awareness and understanding of business needs (including awareness and sensitivity to differing international legal and cultural business practices, and the flexibility to work within different cultural environments);
  • Excellent communication skills in order to liaise effectively with senior level colleagues within the organisation and externally;
  • The ability to increase and maintain open and constructive relationships with others to proactively communicate, but also respond to requests and be sensitive to cultural variations and differences;

Advanced report writing, analytical and organisational skills.

Experience
  • Recognised tertiary education in Law/Finance from an accredited university;
  • Additional experience in the paralegal field;
  • A minimum of 3 years post qualification experience in a multinational company with management level experience;
