About the Role

Oracle Cloud Middleware Administrator is responsible for Oracle Software as a service (SaaS) administration, Platform as a Service (PaaS) administration, Application Deployment, Functional Setups, Application Registration, develop all integrations for Fusion Cloud in Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) etc.

Collaborates with the team to maintain consistent enterprise application setup, architecture, information, rules, and access. Provides enterprise-wide application administration.


Key Accountabilities
  • Play an important and significant role in the day-to-day operations and delivery of cloud infrastructure.
  • Maintains application metadata such as provisioning configurations, enterprise applications, domains, and application components such as pillars, environment types, module types, and middleware components.
  • Manages application instance configurations and enterprise applications.
  • Collaborate with clients and business stakeholders and assist in development of integration process and ensure compliance to all requirements.
  • Organize, execute and supervise integration and user acceptance tests.
  • Oracle Software as a service (SaaS) and Platform as a Service (PaaS) administrator is expected to know how all components of an enterprise IT stack and have specialized knowledge and troubleshooting ability in SaaS and PaaS Environments.
  • Determining the cause of problems both in terms of functionality and performance, to include providing after action reports with root cause analysis.
  • Troubleshooting on infrastructure related issues and Co-ordinate with other teams to troubleshoot on Platform related issues.


Qualifications and Experience

In order to give credible support to the organisation and be successful in this role, the ideal candidate will have the following:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in IT or equivalent.
  • 6 - 8 years of experience in a similar environment.
  • 2 - 4 years of expertise in Oracle Software as a Service (SaaS) and Platform as a Service (PaaS) environment.
  • 1 - 2 years of experience in implementing integration by using Oracle Integration Cloud, SOA CS, MFT CS and Oracle Data Integrator CS.
  • Broad understanding of DBCS, SOACS, ICS, JCS, Oracle Database 12c, Oracle Weblogic, Oracle PaaS, Oracle SaaS, Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) etc.
  • Experience with cloud/storage technologies and CDNs.
  • Work proactively and troubleshoot technical issues and develop resolutions.
  • Determination, self-motivation and an eagerness to take on new challenges.
  • Ability to adapt quickly, working in a dynamic business environment.
